Tiny Sparrows started as a boutique children’s photo studio, and has grown and changed and evolved into a kids ministry and home schoolers ministry right here at Sparrow Hill!
More on that another day. Today I want to share our very first event : The Daddy Daughter dance.
We pulled out all the stops with this dance, including a Dj, decor from the Sparrow Hill Decor Barn, a photo booth, specialty drinks and much more. The girls all had a blast and I know the dads were blessed as well. We plan to make this an annual event, the week before Fathers day every year.
This was such a sweet event and we had a fantastic group of volunteers show up to pamper these girls and let them know how loved, beautiful and precious they all are.
This was an extra special event for us as this was our oldest daughters last dance before she heads into 7th grade! There were a lot of sweet moments between her and Josh, as well as the other girls. They danced the night away (until 8pm.) and had such a blast.
We had the bar open for “fancy drinks” including shirley temples and pink lemonade slushies! When they heard what we were doing, the slushy machine was donated by a past Sparrow Hill Couple, Kam & Kaylee.
Cookies & cupcakes were donated in part by a past Sparrow Hill Couple, Donny & Carly. They hosted their wedding here the Saturday before and offered up so many cookies and cupcakes afterwards! Not many girls can say they had Oakmont Bakery cupcakes at their dance!
The entire event was so sweet and I’m thankful we had the opportunity to host it.
