Deep in our drafts file on the Sparrow Hill Blog, These images from spring were hiding! The end of December seems like a great time to be reminded how beautiful this place is in the spring.
The Hall is our “mini wedding” home, and holds events for up to 50 guests. From what we’ve learned so far it was a corn crib way back when this was a family farm. The transformation into what it was 25 years ago can be credited to a sweet local woman, Mrs. Scullin. This place is nothing short of blessed, and seeing the vision that she brought is one of our favorite things to do. All our renovation projects here start with the question “what would she have done?” Classic, timeless beauty is way better than flashy modern beauty in our opinion.
This is the brides cottage. With a large master suit and a loft for bridesmaids, it houses up to 10. My favorite part is the “moments” room where the bride gets dressed.
This was the beginning of the pavilion build! Or maybe not… You can see the aluminum tent pieces on either end. I’m so glad we were able to build something permanent here! This space is under the ceremony overlook site, and right outside the bathrooms and firepit patio.
These dogwoods are my favorite part of spring at The Farm. Everything is so pink!
This is my absolute favorite view… I think. There are so many different places that are full of beauty. This one though, every time I walk past I stop to be thankful for what God has done in our lives and how far He has brought us.
We would love to have you and your family out at The Farm this spring!
