Emma and Julia had a beautiful summer wedding at Sparrow Hill. There was rain on either side of their day, but the weather was amazing for them! You may remember Emma and Julia from their mini wedding here. It’s been such a blessing to spend so much time with these two. We all cried when it was Sunday morning and they had to leave!

One of the most memorable parts of their wedding day was the family surrounding them. We’ve grown very attached to all of them through this process, and so it really felt like we were hosting good family friends for the weekend, and there also happened to be a wedding that we got to photograph.

Enough about Josh and I though, on to Emma and Jules! There are so many amazing things about these two, from their love of Wynonna Earp (yes I had to google the spelling.) to the friends they had come in from all over the country.

The details were personal and well thought out. The florals were to die for and Emma’s dress! Well. I’ll let the images speak for themselves.

Emma wore one pair of shoes to get married, and one pair of shoes to party!

We literally tell all of our couples that Padrones is the best pizza place around. Emma and Jules took that to heart and we all had pizza before walking down the aisle!

Drinking enough water is super important…. There were a ton of behind the scenes photos in this gallery because we felt like Emma and Julia would actually want them!

The first look was spectacular. Jules was rendered completely speechless, for a significant amount of time! By the time she could speak, we were all smiling ear to ear for her to say ” You look WONDERFUL!”

Then it was time for some portraits (First Looks are the best!)

Then it was time for the ceremony! Emma and Julia chose our main ceremony location at the overlook beside the cottage. The new benches Josh had built, in addition to the details like the wine barrels from Razzberry Vintage made for a beautiful backdrop for their vows.

I have to point out that at the end of the night, there was a core group of people who changed into pajamas (Josh and I included!) and played games until we were too tired to go on. What an amazing idea!

We really did fall in love with this family. These are Emma’s parents dancing.

We snuck out for a few photos with the golden light and this amazing couch rental from Razzbery Vintage, and then ran back in to dance to the wobble!

Then it was time for our sparkler send off, and a few more nighttime photos before dancing and board games!

Emma and Julia, Thank you so much for becoming a part of our family at Sparrow Hill. We love you and know we will see you again soon!
